Overview
In this project case study, I will share my experience designing and developing the NBC Conference Website, a web platform created to manage and showcase the details of the National Biomass Conference (NBC). The goal was to provide an organized, user-friendly interface where attendees could access event information, explore speaker profiles, and register for the conference seamlessly.
This project was developed for a professor from the BM/BT Department of my college, ensuring the platform met the specific needs of the event organizers while maintaining a professional and visually appealing design.

Breaking down the project
Understanding User Needs
The project began with discussions with the professor from the BM/BT Department to gather requirements and ensure alignment with the event’s goals. The focus was on creating a platform that would streamline event management while providing a seamless experience for attendees. Key features identified included an event overview, detailed speaker profiles, a schedule section, and an easy-to-use registration form.
Building on strong foundations
Based on the requirements, I designed the platform’s structure and UI using Bootstrap for a modern and responsive layout. The website included dedicated sections for:
Event details, including dates, location, and objectives.
Speaker profiles with their credentials and session topics.
A dynamic schedule, allowing attendees to plan their participation.
Collaborating with the internal team
Throughout the development process, I worked closely with the professor and incorporated their feedback at every stage. Rigorous testing was conducted to ensure the website performed well on various devices and browsers. The registration form was also tested for security and functionality to provide a smooth experience for users.
Outcome
The final outcome of the NBC Conference Website was a professional, user-friendly platform that met the expectations of the professor and attendees.
The website enabled users to easily access all necessary information about the conference, explore speaker profiles, and register for the event without any hassle. Its responsive design ensured optimal performance across devices, and the intuitive interface made it easy for attendees to navigate.
